because not many are familiar with what PTSD & TBI, are, a friend of mine, whose been through a lot, reguarding PTSD, has took the time to start a non-profit organization called PTSD & TBI Awareness Ribbons.
its a way to spread the word on what these disorders are. she makes ribbons to help people become more aware, with the mindset, if someones rockin it, they'll ask what its for, and you can inform them, giving some knowledge of the problem & spread word, that we can come together.
me - i'm gona rock the ribbon & spread awareness :)
shes currently making ribbons, because the author of "The War at Home: A Families Battle with PTSD" is giving away one of her ribbons with ever pre-order of the book. then she will be sending out ribbons to those who wish to have one.
